Bike Girl

Alexia loves her bike that she received for Christmas. It has a flower basket and a purple bell. It is the super girlie bike. Independently, she can peddle her, but she needs to work on steering. Go Alexia!

Getting Ready For Easter

Our eggs are really blood red this year. You have got it. The kids are enjoying the treat sent from their Yaya. Also, Spiros came to Alexia's class and spoke about Greece and Greek Easter. Alexia was so proud to be Greek. She dressed up  and taught her friends how to say the parts of the face in Greek. Then, Spiros and Alexia showed them how to play the game of who has the strongest egg game with the red eggs.

Holy Week

It's Greek Easter this week. We went to church last night for the procession. The candles are beautiful, but scary with kids. Spiros is taking Maimou to midnight mass tonight. Alexia and I will be sleeping in our night cozy bed.

YumeWoKartre

It's all about the noodles. We heard about a recently new noodle house in Porter Square. So, we had to to try it. Yes, there was a line at 5:30 and that is how small the restaurant. You get two options, small with two pieces of meat or large with five pieces. No take out and taking leftover home. The chef will ask if you want extra garlic and he will give you a thumbs up with a smily, "Good job!" if you finish your food. It was too much fun.

Daffodils in Newport

One of Maimou favorite event is picking daffodils in Newport. He is so happy among the yellow fields.  Newport ended our road trip. Home in Cambridge tonight.

Philly's Playgrounds

When you have kids, you judge places by their playgrounds.

So Fancy in Philly

The purpose of the road trip was to see the Barnes Foundation in Philly. It is the famous art collection that the city of Philly stole. If you haven't seen the documentary "The Art of the Steal," you need to. It's the story unfolded. The art was amazing, about 40 billion dollars amazing. We stayed in a chic boutique hotel. The hotel bought the kids robes that were their size and a gold fish that they named Gold.
