Oh the differences between public and private, everyone and everything was decked out. The kids did such an amazing job singing. They even did a dance to Mozart that was so cool that I wished I had recorded it. Alexia sat there the whole time observing.
It's so hard getting a good picture at Maimou's school. At least I got one good picture of Maimou next to his friends, Kolbe and Ripley. Then, he performed 5 Little Snowmen. Maimou had a yellow scarf and had to walk around to melt the snowmen.
This was the year that the kids were so excited to pull out the holiday decoration and also decorate the tree. Alexia and Maimou tormented laughing santa and put tried on the stocking. Laughing santa was given to Maimou for his first Christmas and we have never changed his batteries. Yet, he keeps laughing. We also saved the kids' first shoes.
The picture with Santa was horrible again this year. I think I'm done with getting the kids picture taken with Santa. The only nice thing was that the gave their letters to him. How do you explain that Santa? Is the real one? Then why does he look different from the others. Is he a helper because the real Santa is working? It's all confusing on top of creepy. These pictures that I took myself are great.
Just joined Facebook yesterday. Not sure if I like it, but it's addictive. My poor blog have been neglected. We got a dusting of snow this weekend, but it soon melted. Pretty, but I'm tried of snow.
