Boston Philharmonic

We attended the Boston Philharmonic today with the kids. They were playing in Cambridge at Sander Hall. We were delighted to find out it was one of the glorious churches in Harvard Square. Michael was excited examining all the instruments, but fell asleep as soon as the music started. We were surprised that Alexia, who has a list of 'this is not me', loved it. She giggled and pretended to conduct the orchestra. She even thought the starring violinist, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, was a princess. The violinist came out bare feet and she was so animated that you can help to be mesmerized by her. The kids all want to go again. Yay!!!

International Night

We had our International Night and and it was fantastic. The other moms went all out showing their cultures with games, food and activities. We had fun, but also learned so much. Michael wore his greek soldier and he is holding his name in Korean. Alexia was my crazy child who did not want to do anything, but take a picture with her Mexican friend Diego.

Little Drummer

Only in Cambridge do kids have the option of African drumming. The instructor is amazing. He is so funny, but he keeps their attention. Michael is learning so much and loves the class.

First Sign of Snow

It's not Thanksgiving yet and we had our first snow last week. Then, the kids wanted to make snowflakes. I'm not adjusting to the cold.

Happy Birthday Sick Daddy

Poor Spiros, he was sick on his birthday and then, the kids kept blowing out his candles. Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Ballet Observation

It was Alexia's ballet observation today. She is super silly until class started. Yes, that is her second position. As soon as class starts, she focused and listened carefully. The girls are all so sweet in their pink and dancing. At the end, Alexia screamed and ran to her daddy, not me. Grateful child.
