Soo Bahk Do

Maimou loved Soo Bakh Do and today was his last class. I was so impressed how focus and in control the kids were. We saw them stretch, blocked, kick, and punch.

The Kapok Tree

This semester at Maimou's class they have been learning about the rain forrest. They created and designed a model of the rain forrest and the animals that inhabit it. Today, the kids performed the book The Kapok Tree. Maimou was the morpho butterfly. Eveyone remember their lines.

Rollie Pollies

Jumping spiders, snails, earthworms, and rollie pollies are a few things we find in our garden.

Riverfest Goodbye

Cambridge has a hippie festival every year and Alexia is ending her school. So, we invited a few of her friends to the Riverfest. Alexia naturally stripped down and walked around in her underwear. Being a 92 degree day, everyone was jealous.

Aquidneck Lobster Company

Who would thought that a visit to the Lobster company would be so educational. The lobsterman was so nice and took some time to show the kids a few animals. The kids got to pet a Raven fish. It looked like a rock, but it felt smooth and soft. Then, he took out a 5.8 pound lobster for the kids to examine.

Strawberry Picking with Toga

Strawberry season is so short, but so special. We took our Japanese friends to Sweet Berry Farm. It was so much fun.
